Storyline

In the suburbs of Naples, kids grow outlaw. Coming from uprooted families, they often quit school and spend days on the street, among drug dealers and mobsters. How do these children grow up? How do they confront an adult and violent reality?

Last Chance Teachers is a journey into the Italian Gomorrah, seen through the eyes of the children. Vincenzo and Rosario are two kids whose childhood has been drifted and are facing a second opportunity as students of the “Chance” project. With the help of their charismatic teachers, they look for a different future.

During the course of one school year, the film follows the twists in the lives of the young protagonists and portrays their fears, hopes and feelings.
