Storyline
A disconnected Japanese teenager, training to become a professional mermaid, is saved from a near death experience when her coach gives her the kiss of life. Desire awakens, she finds her voice and discovers the devastating effects of her siren song.
In the scintillating teenage universe of a special boarding school in Japan that trains teenage girls into professional mermaids, 17-year-old Akame will find her siren voice, discover first love and experience a metamorphosis.
